Welcome to my gorgeous terrace "Sinjin" in the heart of Forest Lodge.

Within walking distance to the city, Central, Glebe, and Newtown, in a buzzing, hip and friendly neighbourhood, the location just can't be beaten.

Recently renovated, the house is an amazing mix of luxury and old-world charm with an industrial edge.

If you love design and interiors you'll love this house! An epic renovation has lovingly brought this old dame back to life, with no expense spared in creating a made-for-Airbnb space that exudes charm and character.

From custom made marble floors, to gorgeous brass lights, to restored fireplaces and decorative ceilings, there is something of interest in every room.

Private, secure and quiet, Sinjin is perfect for those studying or teaching at nearby universities (on the doorstep of both Sydney Uni and UTS) or those visiting our fair city and wanting a central but friendly neighbourhood base from which to explore the city. Note this is a luxury stay and isn't best suited to backpackers or those looking for budget accommodation.

The kitchen has tea and coffee and all cooking facilities, with a fully kitted out kitchen - though why would you cook with so many great restaurants nearby!

I work from home most days and am available if you have any problems or questions. In the evening I often watch TV in the separate (private) loungeroom or read in my room but love to have a chat and share a glass of wine on occasion with my guests.

Forest Lodge is a vibrant, unique suburb only a stone's throw from the dazzling city, gentle Glebe, hip Newtown, buzzing Surry Hills, and a walk to the water. Being opposite the stately Sydney University, it is a bohemian place populated with a mix of students, some families, and older residents. Comprised of gorgeous Victorian terraces you can get a feel for 'old Sydney town' by walking it's tree-lined streets. Take a rest from admiring the architecture by stopping in for a coffee and maybe a cronut at any one of a multitude of cafes right outside your door.

Whilst on a quiet residential street, buses to the city, Central Station, Bondi/Coogee and outer west are available a 30 second walk away. It's walking distance to the city (30 mins), Newtown, Ultimo, Chippendale, Broadway, Glebe and Annandale. Taxis and Ubers are plentiful, and walking is safe any time of the day or night. On-street parking is available on the street outside (there are both unrestricted and restricted spots. If you miss out on an unrestricted spot, visitor passes can be purchased off me for $10/day).

I have 2 gorgeous little pet ratties. They live in the separate loungeroom so you may never see them, but just ask me if you'd like to meet them, they love making new friends!

Only fully vaccinated guests are invited to stay (proof of vaccination may be required).

As I have a Strict cancellation policy, travel insurance is recommended to cover you in case of any disruptions to your travel, such as delayed/canceled flights, illness (incl Covid), or other circumstances.
